Our “Full Service” option is like a spa day for your camera! A Full service for a DSLR or mirrorless camera will include the following:

- Sensor cleaning (with before and after photos)
- Firmware update (if needed)
- Shutter / meter / flash / focus testing
- Shutter actuation report

Firmware Update Service

Camera Manufacturers may periodically release firmware updates for their cameras to improve performance, add new features, and fix problems with the camera. Updating camera firmware can be a risky process if done improperly. If a firmware update is interrupted by user error or done incorrectly, it can permanently damage the camera's internal software resulting in it becoming an expensive paper-weight. At New York Camera, we have the skills necessary to reliably upgrade your camera without risk of damaging it. When updating your camera firmware, you will receive a printed document outlining the changes made in the update.

Camera equipment can be dropped off if they need external cleaning or to be tested to make sure they are working properly. We can check the condition of both digital and film cameras. This information can be useful if you recently dropped, or damaged the camera, or plan to sell it and want to ensure the buyer that the camera is in good working condition.
